“We spent three weeks on an application we were never eligible for.”

Know if it’s worth pursuing before you write a word.

Before anyone writes, the notice is read for who can apply, how it is scored, the match it needs and when it is due. If the client’s files are already in the knowledge base, you also get a fit score with a plain verdict and the gaps you would need to close.

See how it works

The notice, itemized

Eligibility, review criteria and their points, the match requirement, required forms and deadlines, pulled out of the NOFO, NOFA, RFA or foundation guidelines so everyone reads the same list.

A fit score with a verdict

The notice is weighed against the client’s documents, dimension by dimension, from no fit to strong fit, with a 0 to 100 score. It runs when the notice is read, for a client whose files are already in the knowledge base.

The gaps, named

Every fit check lists what is missing to be competitive: the past award, the partner, the capacity or the match. Close them, or decide it is not worth it.

Decide before the hours go in

Read the fit and the requirements, then decide. Nothing is drafted until you approve a concept, so a no costs you minutes, not weeks.

What a fit check gives you

  • Who can apply, and the geography, registration and minimum requirements the notice sets
  • How the application is scored, criterion by criterion, with the points the notice gives
  • Match or cost-share required, and the deadlines
  • A verdict from no fit to strong fit, a 0 to 100 score, and the gaps to close

Questions

Is the fit score a prediction that we will win?

No. It measures how well your documents answer what the notice asks for, and lists the gaps. Nobody can promise an award, and we do not.

Why does the fit score need our files?

Because it is scored from evidence. Without the client’s documents there is nothing to weigh against the notice. Add the client’s files first; the fit score runs when the notice is read. Without them you still get the itemized requirements.

Can I search for grants first?

Yes. Search live federal grants on the home page with no account. State, local and foundation notices come in by upload.

How is it priced?

Credits, bought as you go, with no subscription and no seats. Each run uses only what it needs. Making an account is free, and credits never expire while your account is active.

The other problems it solves
